Giriraj Kiradoo

Founder-Editor, Pratilipi, and Founder-Managing Director, Pratilipi Books, Giriraj Kiradoo is a leading young voice from Hindi. He has edited three books, has published poetry, fiction and translation in almost all the reputed journals and some of his work has been translated into Urdu, Marathi, Catalan and English. A recipient of the Bharat Bhushan Agrawal Smruti Poetry Award and the Krishna Baldev Vaid Fellowship, he is a translator in Hindi, English and Rajasthani currently translating novels by Orhan Pamuk, Hanif Kureishi and Gitanjali Shree into Hindi and poetry by Shree Kant Verma and Arun Kamal into English. A university teacher by profession, he has also worked with the Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi as an Associate Editor, with Siyahi as a Consultant and is currently an Advisor to the Sangam House International Writer‘s Residency Program.
